Hail Wigglians! Welcome to the final show of 2008; what a year it has been; a great, great year here at The Wigglian Way!!! And it's all because of you, dear dear Listeners.

    SAVE OUR SOOJ!!!!

As some of you may have heard, SJ Tucker has run into some medical issues, if you want to help her you can by following these links: There is a big sale of Sooj albums going on right now, $10US a CD! If you were gonna get some SJ CD's, now is the time.

To make your decision easier, (or harder, depending on how you look at it) we feature Haphazard, SJ's 2004 debut release. Tonight, we hear Stickit and Mummy Medusa and although we forget to mention it, we're ending the show with Tattoo Grrl. We also hear from Gaia Consort, The Web and Inkubus Sukkubus with Song to Pan. During the show, Sparrow tells us about the Physicans of Myddvai and we talk about Pan and encountering the God!

    Podkin Love!

As we've said before, this has been an incredable year for us, thank you!

    It's all about the Love!

    • Poor Sooj - I hope she gets well soon. Unfortunately I can't afford my own lunch, let alone $10 for a CD, but when I can I will buy one :)

Keep up the great work, Wigglians, and come visit sometime (geekwitch.org!)

    • I looked up royalties on itunes. It seems like they only pay 9 cents to 15 cents per song to the artist, so better to buy off her site.

    • Confuuuusing article. I think 9 cents is to the publisher. Here is the quote....and recommend folks to look into it as well if they like to use itunes as I just did, to buy Sirens.

"Out of each 99 cent song, Apple currently pays artists and labels an estimated 65 to 70 cents per song, 9 cents of which they currently pass on to publishers."

    • I always try and post the link from whatever site the artist is using.

I try and buy directly from the artist site or from the artist themselves at shows and festivals.

I don't mind iTunes for downloading single songs....

    • On the "buying from Pagan Sources v. buying from Big Box stores" subject: I think in these rough economic times, the big box stores tend to make more sense. The smaller, artist or pagan-run websites may be directly benefiting the pagan community, but I find that - like Mojo mentioned - the pagan websites tend to take longer and are much more unreliable. Also, I tend to be able to get my books, music, and supplies cheaper (and much faster) when ordering through Amazon. However, I frequent our local pagan shop, usually, once a week, and regularly make purchases. I'm not too sure buying from non-pagan sources is in any way taking away from the pagan community.

I think the two of you made the point nicely! Well done as always.

Thanks for walking the Wigglian Way,
