Hail Wigglians! Thanks so much for downloading the show. After a month away, we're back in the saddle! Tonight prompted by some listener email, we talk about herbology and inter faith-marriages. Two of the links that were used for reference are here and here. Tonight's feature album is Metamorphoses by Seattle based Trillian Green. We saw them at FaerieWorlds, what a great set they did. They will be playing the Good Faeries Ball on Jan. 30/09, in Eugene, OR. From Metamorphoses we hear, Gasworks and Kudzu and we end the show with Kuruk Setra. During the second set of music we get our Yuletide started with Winter Born King, from Castalia's In Plain Sight and Light is Returning from Canticles of Light by Charlie Murphy and Jami Sieber. Here's some SJ Tucker news for everyone. She has an up coming gig on Dec. 31 in Oklahoma City and she'll be here in the Pacific Northwest playing with Tricky Pixie at the Bad Faerie's Ball, Jan. 31 in Eugene, OR. We are planning to be in the house for that one! You can also take a trian ride with Sooj! March 19-23, listen for more details! Also yet more exciting news on the SJ front, she is now working on a new tour called The Traveling Fates. Thanks so much for all the emails, votes and comments! This has been an incredible year for us and it's all due to you! We are truely Blessed! It's all about the Love!

- Hey Fire Lyte,
Welcome to The Wigglian Way! We're glad that you found us and are enjoying the show, thanks for taking the time to comment.
While we don't share opinions on this issue, I'm glad that you shared yours. The Wigglian Way is a wide path, plenty wide enough for differences of opinion!
Thanks for sticking with us and for sharing the Love!
Mojo - Hey guys! I'm a new listener, and I've fallen in love with your podcast, the Wigglian Way.
I appreciate your show's format, and I love your segments. I just wanted to comment on something that's been a bit disturbing to me recently: The Sticky Icky. While, as a pagan, I believe that Mother Earth's bounty is sacred and should be revered, I am concerned that the constant mentioning of "the sticky" and reference to it as something mundane and fun leads people to believe that this is something good. While I'm a devout pagan, I'm also an officer of the law here in the US. Not only can there be serious medical problems, but the negative psycho-socio-economic issues that can arise from an addiction to marijuana are far too severe to pass off as a weekend activity.
I'm not going to preach, and I don't want to come off that way. If I have, I apologize. I just want you to be healthy! I believe the God and Goddess want us to treat our body's with reverence and purity. I pray They give you the strength of mind, body, and spirit to beat the Sticky.
By the way, I'm still an extremely loyal fan, and I realize my comments don't represent everybody's. I tell all my friends about your show, and we LOVE Mojo and Sparrow! Keep up the good work, and brightest blessings!

Hi sweetie - I'm sure you feel like you are ready for more responsibility in your craft - but the fact remains that you are 14 and have only been following witchcraft for a year. Most groups and covens do not accept members under the age of 18.
Right now you should focus your energy on continuing to study and practice on your own - this part of the craft never ends and can take a lifetime. While you are waiting until you're of age to join a coven, why not try finding a local study group or teen-run group to participate in?
Here is a list of Teen Pagan Groups for New Zealand, with luck one will be near your area, or they will have an online discussion group you can participate in:

Sarah - hey sparrow and mojo

im 14 and have nearly been on the path for a year
and only now i feel like i want more contact with someone with the same intrest's as me
even just to talk to another pagan

- Hi Sparrow and Mojo,
Just finished my Wigglian marathon - listening to every podcast from 1 to 43 - you are wonderful!
I'm going to suffer Wigglian withdrawal tomorrow, as it will be the first morning in sevral weeks that I won't have a Wigglian Way podcast to listen to! Keep up the great work!
Blessings,
Dark Wolf
- Never forget that history is written down by the winners (because the losers have traditionally been dead) and the bible is a collection of "divinely INSPIRED" text that was written down over an immense period of time and then translated without the use of the rosetta stone, ALL the written material which was recorded by women was NOT included in the bible most people are familiar with. Since the discovery of the rosetta stone, it has been discovered that so much of the translation was inaccurate. I really like the segment on religion, because it is one of the prime sources of conflict in the world, never mind in intimate relationships of two. It is a tricky slope indeed....
If it is true love, then it will be true in spirit, regardless of religion...
You two handled this delicate subject very well.... way to go! - Sparrow...no worries. I am not offended and I doubt anyone else was offended. I was just giving you a bit of info. People still use the word Hottentot to refer to the people of that area and Sarah Baartman has sort of become an icon for women's rights and body-image (there are some moving video tributes on Youtube). I just figured you may want to know who the Hottentot's were because you seem to love information. :) So no worries and if it is Wigglian it is always about the love! ~O
- Hi Oseaana, Thank you for the note and the info about the "hottentots". I'd heard the word but considering it is an offensive term my parents would not have taught me it. I am from a mixed race family and we never used offensive terms. I hope that I didn't hurt anyone's feelings.
It's all about the love,
Sparrow - Yeah the Wigglians are back! Thanks for a great show...it made my work day flow by better.
Just to comment on the Hottentots...they are actually (and more accurately since the word Hottentot is considered offensive to some) the Khoikhoi (or KhoeKhoe) people of southwest Africa. A famous "Hottentot" would be Sarah Baartman aka the "Hottentot Venus" whose story is interesting and sad. She is definitely worth a Google search.
