- Hello hello hello, I missed the newest comments...terribly sorry. Take all the time you need to listen, moone, er Mom. We will be doing this for awhile.
Slowly, I am getting the hang of \"public\" speaking. Mojo always says that it isn\'t public and that I am just talking to him, but I think that I never have to sound intelligent to my friends...LOL. I do however need to sound like I know what I am talking about on the podcast. You are forgiving as are all our listeners. Hehe, I can see ALL now because we are starting to get quite the audience. Here\'s to more shows and having something to say! Slainte! Sparrow - Well, I have finished listening to Episode 4.
As to your question, I don't think the person you are referring to will listen to any suggestions as she is not in that space right now. Each of us is on a different place on our own specific path. When it is her time, she will progress. All you can do is offer kindness and support WHEN SHE ASKS FOR IT! - H-m-m-m-m! Gotta love it ... the old Sunday Catholic controversy ... with a "which witch is which" twist! As to my family tradition, one of my brothers tends to the Norwegian ancestry (Asatru) and because SOME members of the family are - um - stubborn, believes this is the ONLY family path. One sister, following the Celtic ancestry, follows a Wiccan path (and because some members of the family are stubborn) believes THIS is the only family path! Other family members simply delineate their path as Pagan, are fairly eclectic, and pick and choose the best of various traditions in order to maximize their personal spiritual growth. To me, evolving in one's "way" means becoming tolerant and accepting of ALL people, ALL spiritual paths, and ALL differences - provided those people, paths and differences cause NO HARM to another.
- Hi Cindy, you should have an email now with a bit of information about your local community. I'd start out at bookstores and go from there. When Mojo and I talk about something, like sitting on the ground in a circle, we actually mean to be relaxed and comfortable. You can do that just as well in a wheelchair, I think. If you do have more questions you are welcome to ask here or at thewigglianway@gmail.com, or even at the email address I sent you the note from.
- Hi again, I am just sitting here listening to your podcast and I really love the way you two put it out their. I love the back and forth. I hope you keep up the podcasts. I am learning a little about wicca from you two. If you can maybe give me a push in the right direction. where I could get more information. I am like I said before 46 years old, of Scottish, French, Belgarian, Dutch and First Nation heritage. I have heard you say things about sitting on the ground with a circle around you, I am wondering how to do this, since I am in wheelchair. I know I have asked alot here, If you two can help me get going in the right direction I would appericiate it. Thanks and keep the podcasts coming.
- Just finished number 4. As always, enjoy your podcast. A two week downloading and listening cycle is right on, I think. One and one half hours is a long listen, and I would guess most are listening in installments. I liked your discussion. Very thoughtful. When you get lost in what you're doing, and discussing, and lose the self consciousness, that's when art is best. I think.
There is much universal in what you're doing. But I got the fact that this podcast is for Wiccans. I think it works any way it's listened to. - Listening through for the one time. Tomorrow morning I\'ll listen for the two time, and then later the three time. I listen while I\'m writing and that requires opening different brain sections. So I thank you for that, too.
There really was only one major sound sound zap, and that was the opening when you both said Welcome To The Wigglian Way, and Sparrow blew the lid off. It was funny, actually, and a foreshadowing of the show to come.
Listen, the two of you, this is what I think: what I am digging about the podcast, beyond learning about Wicca (which is cool) is witnessing the creative risk you two are taking. This show is amazing, this episode in particular, because it REAL. Sparrow and Mojo are both really learning while they are teaching. That dynamic, the back and forth between you two, is entertaining and it\'s touching, because you put it out there. So I hope you are both encouraged. Great stuff!
