Welcome to the Wigglian Way, Episode 2. In this show we discuss some basic witchy definitions for our non-pagan listeners as well as the ethical, religious and political events surrounding the recent birth of sextuplets in B.C.

The first set of songs this episodes are 'Dionysus' and 'Moon Magic' by Tamarra James, from her 2003 release, Signs of You.

The second set of songs are by Stan Rogers. 'Giant' from the album Fogerty's Cove and 'The Witch of the West Moorland' from the album Between the Breaks.....Live.

    • So I know it's an old episode, but I just wanted to mention about the Bible passage that Mojo quoted - originally that line was *not* "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live", but rather "Thou shalt not suffer a poisoner to live". There was either a mistranslation or a deliberate change to the Bible when Christianity was attempting to 'take over'.

Other than that, great show :) and sorry to be commenting so late!

    • Hulloooo!! Okay, so I had my blood pressure go up a few more times during the debate, am happy that Sparrow got some of her say, some good points Mojo(although some of it sounded exactly like my Mormon friends), and it was AWESOME!! I am now movingon to E-3, and of course on to E-4 form there, whew! I gotta catch up, this stuff is sooooo good. Love ya both,

    • Thanks Shaggi, you may notice that there is a change a comin\'.
Zellen. Thanks for listening, glad that you are enjoying the show. Yeah, that\'s pretty much how a legal handfasting goes. Thank you for reminding us that we are hoping to have someone on the show that can go into detail about that exact subject.
Peter, your show is wonderful. I am sure that it will be just that much better with music.
Lolair, if only you could see us before the shows...during smoke breaks! They are a gas. HEHE.
As I have said before, Sage you are a wise woman.
ALL. We just finished recording Episode 4. It will be ready in a day or two.

    • hi there.
i have to say i love the show. but i did want to say about the hand fasting ; my mum is a Marriage Commissioner. over the years shes proformed broom jumps and haida evin handfast weddings. the only thing that limits them is it cant be \"religus\"(as in cristion or hindu or enny kind preat needed wedding). but i know there are menny out there that are more then willing to do a handfasting for you. but by law there are things you need to say , and its the basic kinda i take so-and-so blablabla.
and as far as ive seen it hasnt changed the spirit of the occashion
enny who thanks aggen and please keep up the good work
      much love

    • I'm still listening! Attempt three to get through E-2. I keep getting interrupted. Okay, I'm at the debate part and so far all I hear is Mojo, Mojo, Mojo(Jojo). I like debates that are riske, but I also like to hear more than one opinion, hope to hear more of Sparrow as I continue on. And of course I still like you Mojo, hee hee.

I'm loving it all over again!!

    • stubborn man...
if you're at the park and just three feet away from you, a father stalks over to his four year old son playing in the sandbox and punches him in the head while screaming at him, would you sit there and watch? You don't think that anyone has the right to intercede on behalf on the child when the parent is putting them in danger?
Of course its ok that someone be allowed to step in and act in the best interests of the child, to ensure their SURVIVAL. The parents first endangered the survival of the babies by having so many of them.
Everyone on this planet has a right to fight for their survival, when that person cannot fight for their own survival any and all means should be taken on their behalf.
Those parents are all kinds of messed up. I think its sick and now will be worried about the kids being in a house like that.
Anyway, wonderful podcast, I really liked it and look forward to hearing more!

BTW, what makes you think that the miracle drug that can cure everything hasn't already been created? Sooo many facets of our society need people to be sick, TONS of programs run on money generated through pharmaceutical companies and such. Somethin to think about....

    • Johnny, so glad that we can help with your understanding. It really is fairly easy as you can see. Also, I don't wear a loincloth.
Moone, or shall I say Mom, of course I believe in what you give is what you get. However, I don't know if it is THAT quantifiable. As for the other...Mojo will have to answer that for sure (as I cannot recall what you are referring to AND it was directed to him).
Good, I thought maybe we hadn't mentioned the sex magic. *wink*

    • Sparrow!! You KNOW that what goes out, comes in ... the only question is the ratio, and that depends on what you are reading at the time! 3-fold, 7-fold, 10-fold ... it comes back. Mojo ... I am no \"fluffy bunny\" and I judge no-one for what they choose to do (see above). I have been known to cast a protection spell or two, and wonder whether you consider that to be cursing. Yes, you did say sex magic!!

    • About half way through number two, and enjoying it alot. I listen and then re wind and listen again so that I'm sure I'm understanding the basic things. Quite impressed at how sensible and organized the belief system is. Here I thought you were leaping about in your loin cloths under a full moon.

It's intelligent stuff, Mojo and Sparrow and it's appreciated.
